It finally quit raining, and we’ve had a couple beautiful Hawaiian days this week. Dave has the whole weekend off work, so we’ve been soaking in the time to play.
This afternoon, it was Ala Moana Beach Park.

Something new: Jonah got a Hand-Paddle for Ultimate Body Boarding. (These are so cool!)

Levi and I had some beach time.
Levi, in Volcom board shorts from Up&Riding, and his backwards Xcel rashguard (“When Dads dress their sons…”)
Uh oh. Eating sand. Kind of funny. But he didn’t like it.
And I offered to help, but the stubborn little tyke wanted to handle it on his own. So, being the wise mom that I am…
I kept my comfy place in the sand, and had some free entertainment.

Considering his options…

I knew he’d figure something out.
Teaching my children problem solving skills is very important to me. As is a relaxing spot on the beach, and some cheap entertainment.
When I can do both at once…It’s a little bit of magic.
Have a great Sunday and check in soon!
