How about something new here at the Grommom site?

I’ve had so much fun with my North Shore Favorites page, and I’ve appreciated all of the positive feedback I’ve received.  After beginning to highlight all of my favorites here on the North Shore of Oahu I got to thinking that…

I can really only represent ONE family, and I really do focus on ONE area of ONE island here in Hawaii.  That’s pretty narrow, right?  And as certain as I am that the North Shore of Oahu is the greatest place to visit…there are a lot of other amazing destinations here in Hawaii as well.  And there are a LOT of you who have experiences to share about those other places, right?  Some photos?  Stories, or suggestions for others planning their travels?  The whole Hawaiian experience is of course very different form a visitor’s perspective.

What I’d like to do is open up a page where I will post all of YOUR Hawaii experiences for others to see!  I’m not sure exactly how this will look, but here’s how I’d like to start:

If you’ve ever been to any Hawaiian Island, and would like to share your experiences,  send me an email!  You can send fun photos (try to pick just a couple of your favorites,) your recommendations for things to do, places to see…Even a short video, or link to a video.  You might have gone to a Luau that you would highly recommend (or not ) or visited a great church, or been on a dinner cruise or….YOU NAME IT!  If you think it is good information to a fellow traveler (or resident homeschooling mom who doesn’t get out enough, ahem….) share it!

If you’re a blogger and have posted about a time in Hawaii, feel free to send me a link to that post!  (And of course if you’re a blogger IN Hawaii, send me a link to whichever page best represents your site so I can share it!)

Really guys, if you’ve been to Hawaii you MUST have something to share, and I know other people will love to hear about it.   I can’t promise to include everything, but as I receive your emails, I’ll do my best to come up with a simple way to organize, and share as much as possible.  (Maybe a page for each island?  I’m not sure–feel free to also email me your ideas on how to do this thing!)

Eventually I may start to highlight some of your experiences on my blog roll as well!
