Back to School {Grom Style}

My boys may not “GO” to school, but they love getting some new clothes for the (home) school year as much anyone else.  They are of course most drawn to the surf and skate brands, but I love to see them spiff up a bit in a collared  shirt, and nice pants.  Sometimes they even have laces in their shoes.

Here’s a few things they’re wearing as we begin our school year:

LUKE, starting third grade:
Not waiting for the bus, but maybe waiting for a ride to the skate park…(PE )

Luke wearing:

O’Neil hat, c/ o Up&Riding
Quicksilver shirt,
Shaun White Jeans, Target
Hand-me-down slippers
Oakley backpack.

JONAH, starting fifth grade:
No, he’s not waiting for the bus either, but instead he’s waiting for his mom to get her camera ready.
He’s been reading the second Hunger Games book, so this is a pretty typical look for him lately.

Oscar kind of stole the show…But who doesn’t love a boy with his dog, right?

Jonah wearing:

Shawn White pants
Shawn White shoes

JOSIAH, starting seventh grade.  No eighth grade.  Well, we haven’t exactly decided…(that’s a home school thing, just so ya know.)

I wasn’t actually planning to use Josiah for this style shoot, but he was in the wrong place at the wrong time…
(Hehe, I’m sneaky like that.)
Josiah was kicking back reading HIS book on his Kindle Fire.

Poor kid had just returned from the orthodontis.
Besides the clothes, he is sporting some purple and green bands.  And pain.  He tried to smile through it-

I don’t know exactly where each of the boys’ items came from,  but many of them are from Up&Riding.  Check out their site and do some back to school shopping.
