Yay! Josiah’s Custom Vans arrived this last week!
Just before Christmas, I mentioned in this post how Josiah was keeping busy by designing his own pair of custom Vans skate shoes! Well, they said to expect them in about six weeks, and sure enough, this last week Josiah’s package arrived. They are exactly what he wanted.
Being a Pepperdine Alumni, I’m pretty stoked on the orange and blue color combo–”GO WAVES!”
If you go back to that last post, you can read step by step how to order the custom Vans. It is SUPER EASY, and a ton of fun! (for kids and adults alike!) Pick a base shoe–and then go for it!

We are a big Vans family. Never checked out the custom Vans, so will go over now! Thanks.
Rad. My boys love Vans and are just starting to get into skating more too. Great inspiration for my kids, thanks! Looks really pretty over there too. Just a little jealous.

Love the custom Vans. I have spent hours creating and changing. I especially like the Old Skool, because I think they let you customize the stripe (or whatever its called). I just have never purchased because there is usually never a sale on them, so it is hard to pull the trigger and purchase; especially since we have a couple of Vans outlet stores around us.
I know–we even have a Vans outlet on island, and there are some great sales there too!
But yeah–the Custom style is pretty cool. Even just to play, right?
