What I’m Love’n

A few things I love:

I’m pretty head-over-heels.

 And man-oh-man I love this one too:

Luke wrapped up his Menehune contest Saturday.  And just as expected, the waves were HUGE.

This is what it looked like on the outside.  (the Pros were out there, GoPro’s strapped to  their boards.)  I shake in my slippahs just looking at these waves!

The groms then, were left to surf the inside slushy white-water.  Hmph.  NOT much fun.

Luke still did great, and made it through to the third round.
No trophies, but a sweet goodie bag.
(And what kid doesn’t love a sweet goodie bag?)
(Even though I really think he shoulda won.)
(But I’m not at all biased.)

I also LOVE…
Instagram! (But you knew that, right?)
Well, later on today, I am posting an INSTAGRAM TUTORIAL!!  Really!  Right here!
I’ve had one too many friends/family members tell me that they aren’t on Instagram because they just “don’t know how!”   So, I have created a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up and USE Instagram!  And now my friends…No more excuses!  I’m pretty excited to share this!

More LOVE:
I love that God spared our island of a Tsunami Saturday night.  (Thankful.)
(And we were blessed to not even have to evacuate…Living up on a hill does have benefits!)

And more:
Grandparents!  Yay–Dave’s folks arrive on island today!
We are so excited to get to share a few days of our island life with them here.

An on-line bake sale going on NOW at my bloggy-pal Megan’s site!   Megan rocks her food blog at “Wanna be a Country Cleaver,”  and has organized this bake sale to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. (All in honor of her best friend Beka, who lives with Crohn’s disease.)
I’ve already bid on the salted caramel chocolate cookies (oops, I just drooled a little!)  The boys picked out about six items to bid on, but their allowance isn’t THAT big yet.
It all looks DELISH!  Bidding ends Monday night, so hurry over there!
